Employment Rights at Work (in-person)

This session will be delivered in person at our Scarborough location.

Please join our Guest Speaker, the Community Legal Worker from the Workers’ Health and Safety Legal Clinic.

You will learn more about “Legal Aid Ontario” and how to access free legal services in Ontario. You will have a clearer understanding of the importance of employment contracts, learn about the Employment Standards workers have in Ontario and how to raise your rights (e.g. minimum wage, hours of work, overtime pay, meal break, termination notice/pay, vacation time/pay etc.) You will also learn about the income supports for workers impacted by COVID-19 and the basic Health & Safety Rights in Ontario.
