Consumers Education Webinar

We invited a ministry subject matter expert from Consumer Protection Ontario to deliver a free webinar to help newcomers learn more about their rights as consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Join us to learn more about Consumer Protection Ontario and your rights when:

– Shopping in-store or online
– Making purchases at your door or in your home
– Hiring a mover
– Hiring a contractor
– Buying a home or condominium
– Renting or purchasing a car
– Signing a contract

During the webinar, you will also learn about the cooling-off period that applies when you sign a contract and what actions to take if you encounter unfair business practices. The session will include an interactive activity and a live Q&A at the end.
