Let’s Talk About It – Canadian Culture (In Person)
Location: 10 Milner Business Court, 6th Floor
Let’s Talk About It is a series of sessions that takes new immigrants on an experiential learning journey, helping them adapt and optimize their integration within Canadian culture.
Participants will learn about Canadian culture and society, develop self-confidence, enrich their English conversational skills and build a greater sense of belonging in Canada. We encourage attending all sessions, as it would greatly enhance the overall experience, but it is not required.
In this session, participants will learn about:
• Canadian culture and social customs
• Canadian idioms and slang that are typically used
• Activities to enjoy during summer and winter
• Holidays celebrated in Ontario
