Not sure where to network? Do you feel shy at large business events or nervous about asking someone you don’t know to have a coffee? Are you new to LinkedIn?

Having a networking plan will put you at ease and lead to better results when you are searching for work or promoting your small business. After all, a good resume or brochure is only as good as your network!

Attendees at this workshop will join our guest speaker from RBC to learn to set networking goals and identify the right people with whom to network. Tactics for breaking the ice, managing contacts and using LinkedIn effectively will be discussed.

Small Business Support Project offered by CCS is a pilot funded by the IRCC to serve permanent residents, convention refugees and live-in caregivers at a lower language level (CLB2-4).

While there is no shortage of business resources for budding entrepreneurs in Toronto, it is challenging for newcomers who are struggling with the language to access these programs and resources. The Small Business Support Project is unique in that it helps bridge this gap by offering knowledge and one-on-one support to this particular clientele in a way with which they are comfortable and can understand.
